Senior Chairman - WASHINGTON, DC
J.P. attended UNC Chapel Hill, after which he joined McKinsey and then BCG. He has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Native to the Azores Islands in Portugal, J.P. co-founded The Beacon Fellowship and has been involved with study abroad for almost a decade in different capacities.
Program Director - WASHINGTON, DC
Eric is a native of Ohio and graduated with honors from Miami University, where he founded and led a consulting firm. He then worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, primarily consulting for the Department of Defense in the Pentagon. He leads admissions at the Beacon Fellowship in Washington, D.C.
Gregg Brandyberry is President of Rapid Deployment Procurement Excellence, Inc., and is formerly the Senior VP Market Operations for FedBid, Inc and Senior Advisor for A.T. Kearney Procurement and Analytic Solutions organization, as well as Vice President Procurement of Global Systems and Operations at GlaxoSmithKline.
Paul Matthews is an Retired Operations Executive and Chief Supply Chain officer. His 40 year career included roles at Bain & Company, Accenture, Limited Brands and LEK. Paul's experience focused on developing, executing and leading operations, manufacturing, and supply chain strategies around the world for Fortune 100 companies.
JOSHUA DE GASTYNE

Joshua is a native of Christiansburg, VA and graduate of Emory University, where he was a Gilman Scholar, IRES Fellow, and SURE Researcher. He studied abroad in England at Oxford University and Morocco before entering the Education Abroad industry himself.
Operations Coordinator COORDINATOR - WASHINGTON, D.C.
Matías was born and raised in Córdoba, Argentina, and is a graduate of George Mason University. He studied Global Affairs with a concentration in Global Governance, with Minors in Philosophy and Italian Studies, for which he received the Cesarino Horing Award and the William Weaver Prize for excellence in language. Before joining the Beacon Fellowship, he worked at the Heritage Foundation.
